Avicii & Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One (Acoustic Version)

I consider Avicii as one of the leaders of the EDM game right now. I don't even know if that's arguable.  But when I saw this I immediately thought of the Krewella acoustic track that we got yesterday. And at the beginning of the song, I was extremely disappointed with the production quality especially from one of the best producers in the world, and then I hit the 2 minute mark and that glorious orchestral synth set in with the piano harmonizing over it. Awesome. Not a whole lot to the video but check that out above and download it below:

J. Cole - Niggaz Know

Oh, J. Cole let go a new single off his album? Auto-post. This cut is from J. Cole's upcoming "Born Sinner" album. Can this dude make a bad song? All of them have that classic feel, hard hitting bass with a hard snare and, of course, hard ass lyrics to go with it. Check it out and download it below:

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Lyte Funkie Ones - Summer Girls

Summer's here, and so are summer girls. This song proves how great 90's music was in one line: "Billy Shakespeare wrote a whole buncha sonnets." BAM. LYRIC GOLD.

A$AP Rocky - Fuckin' Problems (Crizzly Remix)

There have been hundreds of remixes to the standout hit off of A$AP's new album, this is the only one that does it any good. The song itself is one of my favorite raps songs to come out within the past year, the lineup is just unreal (with the exception of 2 chainz). This gives the track more of a trap house/dubstep feel to it. Daddy likes. Check it out and download it below:

Krewella - Alive (Acoustic Version)

The beautiful thing about EDM is that not only are the chord progressions and synths so mind blowing and beautiful, but so are the vocals. The video above proves that. Unbelievable singing here by the duo Yasmine & Jahan. Krewella would not be the same without the vocals of these two. Check it out above and download the acoustic and original versions below and check out EDM all-star Hardwell's remix here:

Kid Ink - Money and the Power

I've been following this dude since day one. I think it's awesome that today he released his debut EP with his major record label, RCA. Below are the two standout tracks on the EP. The first one, Money and the Power is a catchy, up-beat, banger that hadn't been released until today. Below that is Bad Ass which has been the lead single for this EP for sometime and features semi-heavyweight features for a person as new as Kid Ink to the game. I will definitely be bumping Almost Home for the summer. Check em out, download em below:

Bad Ass:

Chief Keef - Love Sosa (RL Grime Remix)

More of this ignant Chief Keef shit, this time with an better twist. RL Grime turns the half retarded rapper's words into a trap house mix that makes it acceptable to play in front of your friends. Check it out and download it below:

Rihanna - Stay (Branchez Bootleg)

Alright, so today I've just been looking up popular songs on SoundCloud and seeing which ones I like. This is a more chill track from a DJ named Branchez. Call me ignorant, but I've honestly never heard of em. Anyway, I can't even describe how bad I want someone like Kendrick Lamar or Wale to pick this up and put a few bomb ass verses over it. Mixtape city. Check it out and download it below:

Empire of The Sun - Alive (David Guetta Remix)

So, earlier in the week we got the much anticipated Hardwell remix to Krewella's "Alive" track. Now David Guetta and Empire of The Sun let go his remix of a different "Alive" song. Obviously these guys are doing something right if they're getting a remix from one of the biggest dj's in the EDM game right now. I personally don't see what's so great about the track. The vocals are extremely average to me, at best. Anyway, check it out and download it below:

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Outkast - Roses

God damn was this my jam back in the day. I miss this shit. Remember when this was hip-hop and popular music? Not this Justin Beiber and Ke$$$hhaaa shit we have now. How creative was this whole album. Outkast was the group, it was two dudes: Andre 3000 & Big Boi, divided into the jock clan (speakerboxx) and the theatre kids (the love below). The result: the perfect clash of badass and and heart throb. It's like if Rick Ross and Ne-Yo made a collabo album. I absolutely love the music video too. So creative, so good. It's a damn shame that the hip-hop industry isn't like this any more. Paula Abdul and Kat Williams as cameo and Kat ends up with the girl.

Deorro - Let Me Love You (feat. Adrian Delgado)

I could really see this track being a radio hit in the states. It has all the essentials. With a catchy chorus and Bruno Mars-esque vocals, I'd say it's destined to be a hit. Will it? Probably not because I doubt Deorro will pay Kiss FM to play his music. But, who knows? He may catch on anyway. Check it out and download it below:

Hardwell & Dyro - Never Say Goodbye (feat. Bright Lights)

So this song was yet another that was unveiled at Ultra music festival. Hardwell has been absolutely killing it lately, from his Alive Remix, now to this. Top two songs in EDM right now. Check it out and download it below:

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Vs. Major Lazer - Can't Hold Us (Major Lazer Remix)

So I was a big Macklemore fan just over a year ago. American and Thrift Shop used to be my shit but once twelve year olds started dancing around singing that shit, I called it quits. A Major Lazer remix on the other hand, is totally fair game. Daddy likes. Check it out and download it below:

It's A Sad, Sad Day....

You know, I used to really like Florida Georgia Line. You can see in some of my old posts that I loved their lastest album and the two new singles they came out with. What the hell is this? Since when did they become a pop band. They're country singers, not Justin Bieber or Hunter Hayes. When Tim McGraw did "Over and Over" with Nelly, it worked because it was Nelly's song that Tim McGraw came in on and just did his thing on the song. Here, Nelly comes in and all of the sudden Cruise went from a popular country song to a Justin Bieber song. Not only am I disappointed in FLA-GA but Nelly too. This is just pitiful.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: City High - What Would You Do?

So, what the hell happened to these guys? This is an actually meaningful song that was still popular and catchy but somehow these guys never stayed around. Makes me wonder if this lead singer ended up dancing for dollars now, that'd be ironic. One more day til the freakin' weekend. Cheers to that.

Krewella - Alive (Hardwell 'Final' Remix) [UPDATED LINK]

Probably one of the most anticipated songs since the huge EDM festival, Ultra. Then again, there are 100 other songs debuted there that I am just as excited for to be released. The original of this song was awesome, now one of the world's best DJ's gives us his version of it. Go Hardwell or go Home. Check out and download the original up top and then the Hardwell 'Final Remix' below that (you might want to do it soon because this song is getting pulled off the internet like Kim K's sex tape):

Corey Smith - Fuck The Popo

Ok so this song is pretty old, but I couldn't stand not to have this on my blog. This is instantly the starting song to my summer drinking sessions. Like, how true is this? Props to Corey Smith for making this thing. Catchy chorus and an awesome guitar rhythm to go along with it. Check it out and download it below:

Justin Moore - Point At You (Music Video)

I posted the listen and download link to this song earlier, now Justin Moore has come out with visuals to his latest single. This girl can crash my party anytime, absolute smokeshow and great video from Justin Moore.

Pusha T - Numbers On The Boards

Today G.O.O.D. Music artist Pusha T dropped visuals for his street banger, Numbers on the boards. I didn't like this song at first but then it grew on me. Check out the visuals above, download the audio below:

Logic (MD) - On The Low (feat. Kid Ink & Trinidad James)

Ok, I've been off of my hip-hop game, but who the hell is this guy? This song goes so hard. Normally I criticize anyone that puts Kid Ink on a song and doesn't put him on the chorus, not this one. God damn this Logic dude snapped on this. As for Trinidad James, why the fuck would you put his ignorant ass on this song? It was so good from 0:00 - 3:00 and then I heard that dude on the track and just skipped ahead. He is God awful, especially on this song. I would have liked to hear an MGK or Tech N9ne verse on this instead of Trinidad. Check it out and download it below:

August Alsina - Work (feat. Roscoe Dash)

Just more ignant shit. All I have to say. I should probably make this as a category up top so that way I don't have to ruin hip-hop's name by tagging shit like this. You have to admit, it is catchy though. Check it out and download it below:

Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash (Feat. John Martin) - Reload (Vocal Mix)

I posted the non-vocal mix of this song a while ago, now Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash give us the full vocal mix with John Martin. In my opinion, the vocals add a whole new element, and it sounds like the track has been totally remastered and for the better. Much more life all around from this song, why did they even release this without the mastering and vocals? Amateur move there, something Swedish House would have never done together as a whole. Check out the good version of Reload and download it below:

Kenny Chesney - Life On A Rock (Album)

Wanted to give this album a listen before I posted it. If you're a Jimmy Buffet fan, you'll like this album. But, if you're looking for the 'she thinks my tractor's sexy' Kenny, look elsewhere. Kenny has kind of changed with his age, he's turned into a more, island, steel drum kind of country singer as opposed to the dirt-road, backwoods country that some of y'all may have been used to. Check it out for yourself and download it at the pirate bay.

David Ramirez - Fire of Time

Alright, this is a completely different song than what I have ever posted in the past. And this is my first semi-sentimental post ever on this blog. Maybe it's because of some personal things that have happened to me in the past week or so, maybe it's just me thinking too deeply, I don't know, this song just kind of spoke to me. I think almost every person in college can relate to this song, because it's lyrics speak truths of the college atmosphere.  But, I started this blog to post whatever songs spoke to me at the time. So, here it is, check it out and download it below:

Sander van Doom, DubVision vs. MAKO feat. Mariana Bell - Into The Light (Original Mix & Music Video)

First of all, how dope are these visuals? It's like the people from Avatar went to an EDM concert. An LSD orgasm. On top of that, I'm a big fan of the song too. Mariana Bell's vocals really set it off although I feel like some of the chord progressions could have been changed for the better. Check it out for yourself and download it below:

Jay-Z - $100 Bill (Full Version)

A snippet of this song from the upcoming Great Gatsby movie dropped a while back but now we get the full version. Not only does this Great Gatsby movie look awesome with an awesome cast, but the soundtrack looks amazing with artists like Jay-Z, Beyonce and Andre 3k. Check it out and download it below:

J. Cole - Truly Yours 2 (Mixtape)

J. Cole with another spontaneous mixtape drop. It is so sick how he does that, no one else in the game just drops EP's like this guy. The album art is pertaining to his upcoming album. Check out the classic beat and flow mixtape below:
